Seneca Rocks
The Club Ride on July 17, 2010 took us to Seneca Rocks in West Virginia. Eddie RC'ed the trip through Rockingham County, over to WVA.
At a stop at a little store, everyone speculated from the porch on the pending weather. We decided to press ahead without rain gear. Three minutes after we got underway the rain started. We spend the 30 minute rain delay in the shelter of the WVA State Police office.
Once the weather cleared, we continued on to the Gateway Restaurant. As eating is the theme of these rides we had a nice meal - the special was meatloaf.
We got to Seneca Rocks and checked out the rock climbers.
A close up of the rock and a yellow circle highlights some of the climbers.
We rode home without incident. It was a fun ride that included both rain and hot weather. We ate well and had fun as we ventured into Wild Wonderful West by God Virginia - it was almost heaven!
