Ride to Eagle Rock
On Saturday, 9-19-09, 8 bikes left Sheetz in the morning and rode to Eagle Rock then Clifton Forge for lunch (of course) home through Deerfield. At a stop in Buchanan some walked the suspension bridge. 
We'd hoped to stop in Ma and Paw's in Eagle Rock, but they were closed. Here we pass through the area - Note the guard rail that seems to be there to catch falling rocks more than keep us away from the cliff's face.
We stopped in Clifton Forge for pizza and subs, then hit the road. Eddie took us through Douthat State Park and miles of the country until we reached the the Deerfield Mall - the highlight of its offering was parking. A couple of miles later, we gassed up and enjoyed the portable facilities. Miles later we divided for home, completing a nice ride on a beautiful September Saturday.
